Exterior
2012 Lamborghini Murciélago adopts the aluminum spaceframe chassis and carbon-fiber bodyshell found in Audi R8. It borrows the exterior concept from Sesto Elemento concept as well as the Reventon models, especially the front-end styling. The 2012 Lamborghini Murciélago improves on mid-engine proportions, perfects angular lines and reduces detailing.
While most cars in this segment flaunt pseudo-retro lines and cluttered look, the 2012 Lamborghini Murciélago with well-balanced proportions should come as a refreshment. In contrast to the original Murciélago, the windshield on 2012 Lamborghini Murciélago is pushed further to give prominence to the shoulder line.
The 2012 Murciélago sports sharply tilted mirrors along with slightly raised side air intakes. Although the proportions of 2012 Lamborghini Murciélago are not replica of earlier Lamborghini models, the side cant does remind one of the Cizeta Moroder and Diablo. 2012 Lamborghini Murciélago looks somewhat similar to the Lamborghini Gallardo but is definitely much more dramatic than the latter. The wider and lower body design is complemented by LED xenon lights at the front as well as the rear.
Interior
2012 Lamborghini Murciélago does not, however, come up with a unique and hitherto unseen interior. In fact, it borrows a lot of elements from Volkswagen Phaeton and Audi R8. Technological features are the same as found in the Gallardo.
Engine
2012 Lamborghini Murciélago dumps the V12 engine of the original Murciélago in favor of the V10 engine featured in Lamborghini Gallardo. In fact, 2012 Lamborghini Murciélago will be powered by the V12 version of the current Gallardo’s V10 engine.
This has been done to keep up with the possible changes in emission standards. If at all the original V12 were to empower the 2012 Lamborghini Murciélago, the makers would have had to undergo a massive task (apart from a huge some of money) to tune the original V12 with the current emission standards.
The engine in 2012 Lamborghini Murciélago would definitely render more than 632 horsepower, specifically 700 horsepower. It would render 508 lb-ft of torque. 2012 Lamborghini Murciélago will sport 6-speed manual transmission and inclusion of stability control is also a possibility.
